【摘要】:Thispracticecoversdosimetricprocedurestobefollowedinfacilitycharacterization,processqualification,androutineprocessingusingelectronbeamradiationtoensurethattheentireproducthasbeentreatedwithanacceptablerangeofabsorbeddoses.Otherproceduresrelatedtofacilitycharacterization(includingequipmentdocumentation),processqualification,androutineproductprocessingthatmayinfluenceandmaybeusedtomonitorabsorbeddoseintheproductarealsodiscussed.Note1Forguidanceintheselectionandcalibrationofdosimeters,seeGuideE1261.Forfurtherguidanceintheselection,calibration,anduseofspecificdosimeters,andinterpretationofabsorbeddoseintheproductfromdosimetry,alsoseePracticesE668,E1275,E1276,E1431,E1607,E1631,andE1650.Forusewithelectronenergiesabove5MeV,seePracticesE1026,E1205,E1401,E1538,andE1540fordiscussionsofspecificlargevolumedosimeters.Fordiscussionofradiationdosimetryforpulsedradiation,seeICRUReport34.Whenconsideringadosimetertype,becautiousofinfluencesfromdoseratesandacceleratorpulseratesandwidths(ifapplicable).Theelectronenergyrangecoveredinthispracticeisbetween300keVand25MeV,althoughtherearesomediscussionsforotherenergies.Dosimetryisonlyonecomponentofatotalqualityassuranceprogramforanirradiationfacility.Othercontrolsbesidesdosimetrymayberequiredforspecificapplicationssuchasmedicaldevicesterilizationandfoodpreservation.Fortheirradiationoffoodandtheradiationsterilizationofhealthcareproducts,otherspecificISOstandardsexist.Forfoodirradiation,seeISO15562:1998,PracticeforDosimetryinElectronandBremsstrahlungIrradiationFacilitiesforFoodProcessing(ASTMPracticeE1431).Fortheradiationsterilizationofhealthcareproducts,seeISO11137:1995,SterilizationofHealthCareProducts-RequirementsforValidationandRoutineControl-RadiationSterilization.InthoseareascoveredbyISO11137,thatstandardtakesprecedence.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
