【摘要】:ThisdevicetemplateiscompliantwiththeUPnPDeviceArchitectureversion1.0.ItdefinesadevicetypereferredtohereinasMediaRenderer:1.TheMediaRenderertemplatedefinesageneral-purposedevicetemplatethatcanbeusedtoinstantiateanyConsumerElectronic(CE)devicethatiscapableofrenderingAVcontentfromthehomenetwork.ItexposesasetofrenderingcontrolsinwhichaControlPointcancontrolhowthespecifiedAVcontentisrendered.Thisincludescontrollingvariousrenderingfeaturessuchasbrightness,contrast,volume,etc.ExampleinstancesofaMediaRendererincludetraditionaldevicessuchasTVsandstereosystems.SomemorecontemporaryexamplesincludedigitaldevicessuchasMP3playersandElectronicPictureFrames(EPFs).Althoughmostoftheseexamplestypicallyrenderonespecifictypeofcontent(e.g.aTVtypicallyrendersvideocontent),aMediaRendererisabletosupportanumberofdifferentdataformatsandtransferprotocols.Forexample,asophisticatedimplementationofaTVMediaRenderercouldalsosupportMP3datasothatitsspeakerscouldbeusedtoplayMP3audiocontent.TheMediaRendererdevicetemplateisverylightweightandiseasytoimplementonlow-resourcedevicessuchasanMP3player.However,itcanalsobeusedtoexposethehigh-endcapabilitiesofsuchdeviceasaPC.Afull-featuredMediaRendererexposesthefollowingcapabilities:?Controlvariousrenderingcharacteristics?Exposethesupportedtransferprotocolsanddataformats?Controltheflowofthecontent(e.g.FF,REW,etc),ifappropriatedependingonthetransferprotocol.TheMediaRendererDOESNOTenableControlPointsto:?SendAVcontenttoanotherdevice?Retrieveanytypeofmeta-dataassociatedwiththecontent
